The first issue of our print zine is finally here!

The first issue of Paperface Zine includes the Los Angeles power trio Cheekface as its cover story, who confront the absurdity of modern life with their sharp hooks and sharper lyrics. We had the pleasure in writing a gonzo on the Toronto rockers Kiwi Jr., who we hung out with right before the pandemic happened. There's also a profile piece on visual artist/DIY musician Sabrina Nichols, aka Shep Treasure and an in-depth Q&A with rising singer-songwriter Jimso Slim. More features include the Brooklyn-based "trash pop" outfit Nihiloceros, art punk duo Freak Genes, and Rochester punk legend Forrest Green.

More goodies include another exclusive comic from artist Sam Fratto, album reviews and our segment What's Spinning where we have musicians recommend us albums they've had on rotation.
